Island Knits Recognizes the privilege of living, working and creating on the beautiful traditional lands of the Lekwungen speaking people (Coast Salish), a people whose deep and spiritual connection to this land continues to this day. We acknowledge this with gratitude and thanks to the indigenous people of this region and their ancestors, and pledge to tread carefully on this precious territory.
